In Memory of Ingred Lin

In fond memory of Ingred Lin who sadly passed away on the 17th December 2009.
Our love and thoughts are with her family, friends and her beloved horses.

Ingred was my friend during our Sophmore year at Kubasaki High School, Okinawa. She inspired me to be more athletic and laugh alot more. Her smile and enthusiasm was a bright light. She and I reconnected via email in the past several years. She extended so much kindness to me during some dark times in my life. Our loss here on earth is Heaven's gain. God bless you my friend. My heart goes out to her family and friends who miss her very much.

I am deeply saddened by hearing of the passing of Ingred! I worked for Ingred when I was in high school and going through college. She was an amazing person and she taught me a lot. I know she is up there with my dad who lost his life to cancer as an angel. You will be deeply missed! :!cry:

As a friend and former neighbor of Ingred’s , I was privileged to know her and to also share many memorable moments with her. Her generosity, strength of spirit, love of family, and passion for her horses never faltered. When the time came for me to begin my own battle with cancer, it was Ingred who swooped in to take me to lunch, and offered to sit with me through my initial chemotherapy. She understood how enormously deep the well of personal power within each of us flows, and the importance of tapping into it, and reclaiming it when necessary. Though her illness did not define her, the strength of her spirit, her zest for life and her ability to move positively forward through the losses are gifts from her , that I will always treasure.
My deepest heartfelt sympathy goes out to Stella, Adam, Mark and other family members. Ingred was a remarkable and inspirational woman, and a tribute to a life well lived. She will be missed.

I am honored to have known Ingred for many years as a long time supporter of Gold Coast Dressage Association and the sport of dressage. When Ingred served as President and I was Vice President, she shared her "home away from home" White Fences, with Gold Coast and allowed us to hosted our shows there in past years. My fondest memory was riding one of her schoolmasters with her all around White Fences as she insisted I needed a fun day off from work! We will miss your courage, strength and quiet determination.

Dear Adam & Markie,

Your mom is one of the bravest and strongest persons I have known in my life. Since we met in Italy 1998, I have witness her with the incredible ability to handle the most difficult situations in life and learned a lot from her. She is now resting and free of the worldly burdens and being next to your grandfather who she loved so much. My condolences and wishing you both a successful journey in life, please look after Grandma Stella and be strong!

In Prayers, Lily

We met Ingred 15 years ago through Hubert Rohrer (who we also lost to cancer years ago). He said “Have I got a house for you!!”
So began a friendship that endured through 15 years of fun, excitement, sadness, and great losses. But with Ingred the fun & excitement always transcended the sadness.
Ingred was generous & kind to her friends, never expecting anything in return.
I do believe the horses kept her alive, but I also think she had an unusual spirit that helped her to fight for her life and realize her dreams. To see her boys grow up. To see her beautiful farm once again host successful, friendly Dressage shows. And to train her beloved Lusitanos, with Que Ba reaching the ultimate goal of winning at the Grand Prix level.
Ingred, you took care of everything. Now you can rest. We will miss you terribly, but your memory will give us strength and help us through the hard times. You were very brave. You are our HERO!!
